With the blessings of Hari Vayu Gurugalu the Vayustuti Punascharana Dwitiya Avruthi Mangala Programme was a Huge Success.

The team comprising Ladies, Gents and children numbering about 45 started by bus from KPHB, Kukatpally at about 9-30 pm and reached Anantagiri by 11-30 night of 26th March 2011.  The programme was jointly organized by ITMS Kondapur & VMMP Miyapur   under the able guidance of Pandit Lakshmi Narayana Char  & Sri Madhav Achar. Our day 0n 27th March started with all the Bhaktas waking up by 4-30 am started getting themselves prepared for a Pushkarni Snana.

All the devotees had their bath and performed Sandhyavandane by 5.45 to 6 AM.  The Archaka  of Sri Anantha Padmanabha Temple scheduled Nirmalya and Abhiseka to the presiding deity by 5.30 AM. All the devotees gathered in the garbha gudi and squatted on the floor with great devotion to watch the nija Darshana of Saligra rupiee Sri Anantha Padmnabha Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhoodevi Ammavaaru.

Then began samoohika parayana of “Sri Vishnu Sahasra Nama” & “SriSuktha”.  Simultaneously archakaru performed “Abhisekha” and “Alankara” and mangalarathi to the deity.  It took almost an hour and everybody had the Vishwaroopa Darshana of Lord Sri Ananta Padmanabha.  Archakaru performed Mangalaharati to the deity after Alankara as culmination of Pooja.

All the male devotees then assembled in the spacious Hall in front of Garbhagudi. Sri Lakshminarayana char administered Sankalpa and began with Sri Venkatesha Stotra, Sri Manyu Suktha followed by Sri Hari Vayustuti followed by guru stuthra and Sri Raghavendra Swamy Stotra parayana.

Simultaneously Achar started making preparations for Sri Hari Vayu Stuti Homa.  To our Great fortune Sri Madhav Achar (Sudha Panditaru) has consented to perform the Homa.

Soon after the culmination of Sri Hari Vayustuti Punascharane, Sri Lakshminarayanachar briefly explained the historical background and importance of Sri Anantagiri quoting various incidents from Markandeya and other various puranas.  He explained for about half an hour how pious and great occasion for all of us to dedicate our seva at such an important Teertha Kshetra.    He then requested Sri Madhav Achar to speak on the occasion.  Sri Achar briefly spoke for about 15 minutes explaining how it has ben described that naama jaapa gives vishesha phala in Kali yuga.

All Devotees assembled for the Homa after light refreshments.  Sri Raghavendra Baru and Sri Raghavendrachar ably assisted by chanting Sri Hari Vayustuti keeping in pace with the Achar performing Homa.  Thereafter Sri Lakshminarayana char led all the devotees to the Pushkarane and all took the holy bath in the Lake as part of chakra snana.  Sri Acharyaru sprinkled holy water on the other devotees gathered and who could not take the bath.
Soon after all the devotees were asked to assemble in Sri Satya Pradmoda Teertha Nitya Annadana Hall.  Sri Archakaru gave teerthaprasada  to all the devotees. As is to prove that the programme was blessed by the deity and his acceptance, all the items served were very delicious. Post lunch all the Bhajana Mandali members (Mahila) gathered in the Mantapa and started Bhajanae for one Hour.

By about 3 pm all the devotees were asked to board the bus.  On way back, we visited centuries old Sri Venkateshwara Temple at Chevella.  Archakaru performed mangalaharati and explained the historical background of the temple.  After spending about 30 minutes in the temple we headed towards our destination and reached at about 7 pm.

ITMS and VMMP takes this opportunity to thank all the Organizers, Pundits, Archaks, Volunteers and participants.

A special vote of thanks to Sri Seshagiri Katkar for planned organization of activities at Ananthgiri kshetra (as part of Sri Anathapadmanabha Seva).
