Scheduled Yaatre to Navabrundavana

We plan to go on a weekend Yaatre to Hampi, Anegondi & Navabrundavana on the 11th & 12th of November (Saturday & Sunday). The tentative schedule for the trip has been worked out as below. We are fortunate to also have a vibrant team from the Jignaasa joining us for the grand yaatre from Bangalore.

10th Evening
Leave from Hyderabad by the Rayalseema Express at 5:30 PM to reach Hospet at 5:00 AM the next day.

11th November (Saturday)

5:30 AM - 2 Tempo TRAX vehicles have been arranged and will be waiting at Hospet Railway station for both HYD and BLR parties
6:00 AM - 7:30 AM - Freshen up at my relatives place.
10:00 AM - Leave for Navabrundavana
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Navabrundavan Darshana
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM - Theertha Prasada at Raghavendra Mutt at Anegondi
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM - Afternoon break at the Mutt
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Tour Hampi and surrounding places
6:00 PM - Arrive at Hospet SRS Mutt
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM - Pravachana on Madhwa Siddhantha & QA session
8:00 PM Onwards - SRS Mutt Swamiji is expected to perform his devara pooje there - we can have his darshana.
9:30 PM - Phalahara & Retire for the day.

12th November (Sunday)
8:00 AM - Arrive at Yantrodharaka
8:30 AM - 11:00 AM - Sarvaseva Pooje
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Theertha Prasada.
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Discussion on future programs of our Sanghas and joint events on the banks of Tungabadhra.
2:30 PM - Leave for Hospet.
3:15 PM - Hyderabad team leaves for the Railway station to catch the 3:45 train.

For Hyderabad Yaatri's only
6:30 PM - Arrive at Guntakal (the train has a 4 hour halt)
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM - travel to Chippagiri + Have dharshana of Shri Vijayadaasaru
9:00 PM - 9:30 PM - Phalaahara at Chippagiri
10:00 PM - Arrive at Guntakal RS to move ahead with onward journey.

Kaarthika Hunnime Celebrated in a grand manner

Kaarthika Hunnime - which was celebrated today (5th November 2006, Sunday) at Sri Ramesh Dindigals house on behalf of IT Madhva Sangha was well received. We had with us Pt. Nagendrachar who graced to occasion and delivered a fantastic upanyaasa on "Karthika Maasadha Visheshagalu". Prior to the upanyaasa conducted Deepothsava and Deepa Dhana karyakrama on the grand occasion of Karthika Hunnime.

First Anniversary Celebrations

Namaskara All,

It gives me immense pleasure to bring to your kind notice the celebration of our "First Anniversary" to be held on 9th July 2006 (SUNDAY).

We should consider it a great honor that "Shri Shri Vishvesha Theertharu" the Senior Pontiff of Pejawar Mutt will grace the occasion.

Following is the scheduled program on 9th July 2006 (SUNDAY)

9:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Presentation on "1st of Year of ITMS, Hyderabad" by Suparna Chincholi.

9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Panel Discussion on "Issues facing our Madhva Community & possible solutions"

The panel will have Pt. Nagendrachar, Pt. Jayatheerthachar & Pt. Padmanabhachar lead by Shri Pejawar Swamiji.

10:45 AM - 11:00 AM
Summary of the panel discussion & Anugrahabhashe by Sri Pejawar Srigalu.

The program is being conducted at Shri Poornabhodha Vidhyapeeta, Sainikpuri (same location where Dr. Vyasanakere Prabhanjanacharya's program was conducted last month). I will be sending out the road map to this place shortly.

NOTE

We also propose to have about 100 Shalya's (Yellow shalya with red border with our logo at the center) printed and available by 9th July 2006. Each shalya is expected to cost about 100/- each. A separate mail regarding the same will be sent out shortly.

Being Sunday, I request all members to compulsorily make it to this grand event and make it a grand success.
